1. About these terms
These terms apply to the TapReview DIY website, business dashboard, review pages and QR tools. TapReview DIY provides the service; the business named on a review page is responsible for its own products, services and response to feedback. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service. Nothing here removes rights or protections that applicable law gives you.
2. Private feedback and Google reviews
Review pages let you write an honest review for Google or send a private message directly to the business. A private submission is not a Google review and is not published by TapReview DIY.
- Private feedback is optional. You can close the form or continue to Google without completing it or entering your name.
- We do not post reviews on your behalf. You choose what to write and any rating directly on Google.
- Submitting private feedback saves your message, optional name and any referral identifier for the business. Email notification may also be sent to its owner.
- After a successful submission, you see a thank-you message and the tab leaves for a blank page after five seconds. You can leave immediately or follow the Google-review link during that time. You are not redirected to our homepage.
- Private feedback does not waive your right to publish an honest review, complain to a regulator or seek a remedy. It does not require you to remove or revise any public review.
3. Honest reviews and platform rules
Businesses must not use this service to suppress criticism, selectively solicit positive reviews, offer incentives for reviews, pressure a customer to change their rating, or fabricate an experience. Optional review starters are suggestions only: use your own words and remove anything that does not reflect your actual experience.
A skip option does not by itself establish legality or compliance with Google’s policies. Google prohibits discouraging negative reviews and selectively soliciting positive reviews. Review collection practices may still raise compliance concerns; businesses must assess the complete customer journey and applicable local law. These terms do not certify this flow as legally or platform approved.
See Google’s contribution policy. Where United States law applies, the Consumer Review Fairness Act protects honest consumer opinions against certain contractual restrictions. Laws differ by location.
4. Accounts and acceptable use
Use accurate account and business information, keep sign-in credentials secure, and manage only businesses you are authorized to represent. Do not impersonate others, submit unlawful or abusive content, upload material you do not have permission to use, interfere with the service, or attempt to access another customer’s information. Access may be restricted to address misuse or security threats.
5. Your content and permissions
You retain your rights in feedback, artwork and business information you submit. You grant the permissions needed to store and process that content, deliver private feedback to the relevant business, display your business pages and fulfill your orders. This does not transfer ownership of your review or authorize publication of private feedback as a public testimonial.
6. Orders, payments and service availability
Check product configuration, artwork, shipping details, prices and delivery information before ordering. Payment is processed through the checkout provider. Order-specific terms disclosed at checkout and mandatory cancellation, refund and consumer rights apply; these terms do not create a blanket “no refunds” rule.
Availability, delivery estimates and third-party services may change. Temporary preview links may expire, so use a permanent address for printed QR products. We do not guarantee review publication, a particular rating, search ranking, uninterrupted availability or a business response to feedback.
7. Third-party services and responsibility
Google, authentication services and payment providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies. TapReview DIY is not endorsed by Google. Businesses remain responsible for their customer communications and use of the tools. Each party remains responsible to the extent required by applicable law; nothing excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Privacy, questions and changes
Our Privacy Policy explains the information processed by the service. For feedback-related questions, contact the business named on the review page using its published contact details. For TapReview account or order questions, use the contact channel supplied with your account or order correspondence.
We may update these terms as the service changes and will update the date on this page. Material changes requiring notice or consent under applicable law will be handled accordingly. No exclusive court, jurisdiction or waiver of statutory consumer rights is imposed by this page.
